Feeling brave to post this… I’ve lost 37 pounds in 26 weeks (i’m 27 years old). I know i’m still far from my ultimate goal weight but i’m feeling great! I have run in 5Ks, and when i started this journey i couldn’t even run for a full minute! The two best things have been my mom saying i look like a regular sized person now (yes, that’s a compliment and i liked it!) and also going into aeropostale and being able to fit into the clothes.

Well I want to say I’m mad at my Nike+GPS cause on July 4th it hiccuped or something and said I ran an extra .25 miles really fast. Now I dont get any achievements on regular runs. I guess that means I just hafta work harder and set new goals—don’t settle for the status quo!The good news is that although my run was short yesterday, I did do a mile without stopping in 12:31! (and outside!) 2.55 total in 31 min.

New taste treat!

I just made kale chips for the first time! YUMMMM. I’m going to eat like 2 whole cookie sheets! Great dinner after power yoga! Just spray olive oil on it, salt and dust with garlic powder. 20 minutes at 325!

Yes I need this today. I haven’t lost anything this week and I’ve been running my ass off. I’m hoping to magically sleep off half a pound before weigh in tomorrow :( but I’ve come this far and I know the rest will come off eventually…
